The Middle East Peace Talks and Settlements

written by: Sheila Quinn

The leaders of The U.S. and Europe are obviously pro-Israeli. The mind games that they are playing with the Arabs and the public in general is scandalous. They give lip service to The Arab Peace Initiative while giving the green light to The Israeli State to proceed as it wishes.
What is being accomplished is that they are allowing facts to be changed on the ground for all of Palestine to be stolen by The Israeli State while allowing the Israelis to insist that Jordan doesn't exist at all. Jordan is not Jordan but Palestine.
Settlements are being built;forty percent of the West Bank has been stolen through the building of the settlements. Action is being taken by The Israeli State to evict all Palestinians who live in The Jordan Valley. What does this accomplish? It not only is stealing land from The Palestinians, but it is causing a direct threat to the security of Jordan. The land that many settlements are on is on the border with Jordan. If The Israeli State wanted to invade Jordan at any time in the future such an effort would be very easy.
What is the government of Jordan doing about it? Well, it is insisting on The Two State Solution on one hand and preparing for war on the other hand. It is insisting on the unity of Jordan while intimidating Jordanians who are critical of the government.
When King Abdullah the second of Jordan first became king I was very excited. I sensed that positive significant changes would occur for Jordan under his leadership. But I am starting to become disillusioned with him. He has put trust in those that he shouldn't trust. He has put trust in the leadership of the U.S. and Europe. In putting trust in them he is allowing the Jordanian government to commit acts of tyranny against Jordanian citizens.
The issue of the settlements is clear, they are illegal. Yet, they are allowed to continue in-spite of their illegality. Both The U.S. and Europe has -by all practicality- refused to pressure The Israeli State into stopping them. Yet, Jordan continues to act as a loyal ally to both The U.S. and Europe. What sense does this make? What does this say about Jordan and its effectiveness as an advocate?

Where will the peace talks go from here? Will the Arab leaders cave in and compromise more than they have already? Or will a war break out between the Israeli State and its Arab neighbors? How long will we have to wait for the answer to these questions?

Response of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan as regards Lisbon Meeting

Saturday, November 20, 2010

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

On 20.11.2010 ended the meeting of 28 NATO member countries which had been held in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Participants of the meeting passed some decisions about Afghanistan. In response, the Islamic Emirate issue its stance concerning the decision as follows:

1. Seeing that the USA failed to get additional military assistance of the NATO member countries in Lisbon Meeting for prolongation of the war in Afghanistan despite her all-out efforts or at least get commitment to ensure long-term continuation of the present military power of the NATO member countries in Afghanistan, therefore, it is a good news for the Afghans and all freedom-loving people of the world and it is a sign of failure for the American government. In the past nine years, the invaders could not establish any system of governance in Kabul and they will never be able to do so in future.

2. The real solution of the Afghan issue lies in withdrawal of the foreign forces. Hence the NATO decision to start withdrawal of military forces from Afghanistan in 2014 is an irrational decision because until then, various untoward and tragic events and battles will take place as a result of this meaningless, imposed and unwinning war. The bottom line for them is to immediately implement what they would ultimately have to implement though after colossal casualties. They should not postpone withdrawal of their forces even be it for one day.

3. As far as the Mujahid people of Afghanistan are concerned, they are not ready to tolerate foreign invasion and occupation of their country even if it is for one day because of their firm determination. Nor they feel exhausted in the way of the sacred Jihad and the struggle of independence. So they will not remain silent even for a single night until and unless the goal of complete freedom and formation of an independent government is achieved. They will not wait for the time of implementation of a given decision or timetable of withdrawal.

4. Seeing that the invading forces which have come here from far-flung places, thousands of kilometers away, and want to set a timetable for withdrawal but still want to continue presence of their forces at the regional countries, therefore, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls on the neighboring and regional countries to take drastic measures for a bright future of Afghanistan, the Afghans, and all the region, for good relationship and reconstruction of Afghanistan.

5. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has formulated comprehensive policy for the future Afghanistan, for efficient governance, security, Islamic justice, education, economic advancement, national unity, and a foreign policy that will ensure protection of the country against any harm of others and convince the world that the future Afghanistan will not harm them. The Islamic Emirate wants to take strong step in collaboration with all countries and in the framework of mutual respect to maintain bilateral corporation with all countries; ensure economic progress and bright future.

We consider the whole region as our home against colonialism and as a responsible force, want to play a role for peace and stability of the region in future.

Message of Felicitation of the Esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid on the Occasion of Eid-ul-Odha

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

Praise be to Allah. We praise Him and seek His help, forgiveness and guidance.

We seek His refuge from the whims of our inner-self and from our transgressions. Whoever Allah guides, no one can deviate( him/her); who ever goes astray, can find no one as a friend and guide (except Allah to guide him). We testify that there is no god but Allah. Alone is He and no partner He has. We also testify that Mohammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messenger. Having said that, I would like to further say:

To the suffering Mujahid people of Afghanistan; to all believing ethnicities in all parts of the world; to all nearly and remotely- situated Muslims and to the Muslim Ummah: Peace, Mercy and Blessing of Allah be upon you all. My heart-felt felicitation to you on this great day of joy, selflessness and sacrifice. May Allah (swt) accept in His Sight the worship and offerings of all Muslims. Similarly, may Allah (swt) accept the pilgrimage of the pilgrims who are now visiting the Kabba Sharifa and the struggles and toils of the Mujahideen of the way of truth and of their supporters. May Allah (swt) bestow blessing, salvation and victory on the Ummah as a result of the endeavors of the Mujahideen. Ameen

Meanwhile, I would like to share with you some viewpoints concerning the current situation of the country and the world.

Regarding the Internal Developments of the Country:

The moments of defeat of the invaders have approached now due to the special victory and the sincere sacrifices of the Mujahideen. The enemy has been defeated at the battle field. Now they rely on media hypes and portray themselves as if making advancement but the ground realities are what you and we are witnessing. The enemy is retreating and facing siege in all parts of the country day in and day out. Their life casualties are spiraling up. It is because of this pressure that the enemy has resorted to spreading the misleading rumors of peace talks.

Thus, they want to reduce the military pressure which is being exerted on them. But it was the enemy in the first place, who invaded our country, imposing the war on us, so the sole way for our salvation is the armed jihad in the way of Allah (swt). Our Mujahid people will never feel exhausted in the sacred path of Jihad, because it is a divine obligation and a great worship. Fatigue can have no way into it. It is a matter of pride that the Mujahideen and the people, like brothers, lay down their lives in the defense of their religion, honor and independence of their country. They do not give chance to the enemy to create split among them through propaganda and other covert machinations. The enemy wants to protect itself from the attacks of Mujahideen by creating local militia units and utilize them as a shield; we have paid special attention to this task and obtained spectacular achievements. Similarly, some internal and external enemies are now speaking of disintegration of the beloved country. They should know that the patriotic countrymen and the Islamic Emirate will never allow any one to put into practice their wicked plan.

Regarding the Puppet Kabul Regime:

The situation of the Afghan people and the beloved country is going from bad to worse during this reign of the surrogate Karzai regime. Hardships, starvations, poverty, homelessness, civilian casualties, various diseases, aberrations of the youth and cultural and social deviation in the name of democracy are touching its climax. A few hoarders in the high government slots have control over all items including the daily consumption items. This is being carried out under the title of the open market system. They are determiner of the prices.

We witness this hard fact, that many miserable families of the country have been forced to resort to beggary. Corruption is at its epic. This is not what we say but the founders and masters of this regime admit that their puppet regime ranks 2nd at the index of the most corrupt regimes of the world. This is because the rulers of the regime have been installed by others and they are not interested in the future and prosperity of the country. They are only hankering after filling their pockets with money and fleecing the masses. Many of them have foreign nationality and do not consider Afghanistan as their own country.

The Americans are intending to keep in the country, a regime installed under the leadership of some westernized elements- a regime which is extremely bereft of any resolve and determination; a surrogate only relying on foreign aid. Thus the invaders want to prolong their presence in the region and extend their occupation. Every Afghan in this corrupt regime has obligation to desist from supporting the invaders because of the current ordeals and tribulations that the Afghan Muslim people are passing through. They should not help their enemies of faith to destroy their home.

There is no moral and religious justification to work in a regime, being puppet and traitor to its people. If they are not able to join the ranks of Jihad, at least, they can desist from cooperating with them. Thus they would perform their patriotic and ideological obligation. They should take care, less they may not stand shameful before their people and history and Allah (swt) on the Day of Resurrection.

The number of those who have left the ranks of the enemy has increased following our previous call to do so. This is a commendable phenomenon. We have instructed all Mujahideen to favor them with special incentives and acclamations.

Regarding the Rumors of Peace Talks by the Americans:

The Islamic Emirate still holds its previous stand regarding the current issue of the country. Islamic Emirate believes that the solution of the issue lies in withdrawal of the foreign invading troops and establishment of a true Islamic and independent system in the country. The cunning enemy which has occupied our country, is trying, on the one hand, to expand its military operations on the basis of its double standard policy and, on the other hand, wants to throw dust into the eyes of the people by spreading the rumors of negotiation. Claims about negotiation, flexibility in the stance of the Islamic Emirate, are mere baseless propaganda. The enemy wants to cover up its failure in Afghanistan by wrongfully raising hollow hopes in the hearts of their respective people.

The believing people of Afghanistan and the public of the world should not trust any news report or rumor about the stance of the Islamic Emirate disseminated by any one rather than the leadership of the Islamic Emirate or the designated spokesmen, because such new reports are spread by the intelligence agencies of the hostile countries. Then the media outlets affiliated with these espionage entities, irresponsibly publish them with great fanfare. The aim is to play down the defeat ( of the enemy) at the military field through media warfare. But these conspiracies will never prove effective against our brave people and Mujahideen as these experiences have already been tested.

The former Jihadi leaders and influential based in Kabul should know that, as the invading Americans already used you against the Mujahideen in the framework of peace council, they will again use you for their illegitimate objectives besides the puppet regime of Kabul. We can’t figure out why you are unilaterally coopering with the invaders? Can the present regime reflect your objectives of former jihad? Was the aim behind your 14-years long Jihad to let the place of the Russians to be occupied by the Americans?

If you want to extricate yourself of this dilemma and lead a life like a proud Muslim Afghan, the only way of honor and dignity is the way of the sacred Jihad and independence of the country. Come and compensate for your mistakes of the previous years by honestly embarking on the path of struggle against the invaders. This does not mean that every one has to join the stronghold but every one should utilize his capability in support of the current resistance. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has comprehensive policy for the efficiency of the future government of Afghanistan; about true security, Islamic justice, education, economic progress, national unity and a foreign policy based on norms to protect itself from the harms of others and convince the world that the future Afghanistan will not harm them.

Regarding the Military Situation of the Country:

Our coming military programs will forge ahead on the basis of the climate of the country and the geographical locations as per the plans now at the disposal of the Mujahideen. The aim is to entangle the enemy in an exhausting war of attrition and wear it away like the former Soviet Union. This will force it face disintegration after dealing a crushing and decisive blow at it that it would not be able to hold itself thereafter.

To achieve this, we have hammered out short term and long term plans. We are optimistic about the results of these plans. Our strategy is to increase our operations step by step and spread them to all parts of the country to compel the enemy to come out from their hideouts and then crush them through tactical raids. This experiment was effective in Marja, Kandahar and some other areas. Therefore, the Mujahideen should focus on their jihadic efforts more than ever and expand their jihadic operations on the basis of the given plans. They should try their best to compel the moribund enemy to flee from our soil.

They should constantly and unremittingly remember Allah during the performance of their tasks and be sure that Allah is the ultimate creator and conductor of all affairs; and must have the conviction that their achievements are the result of the exclusive blessings and victory from Allah; should increase their worship and recite the prayers during jihad which the holy prophet (peace be upon him) usually recited. This will bestow on them solace and consolation and will strengthen in them the essence of trust, sincerity, humbleness and the desire to seek the pleasure of Allah (swt). These characteristics of a believer are an asset which even in worse conditions lead to a blessing and victory from the Almighty Allah. Similarly, do not forget the Islamic moral conduct, even for a while, during your journey on the path of the sacred Jihad.

You should study the Jihad related affairs in the books of the Sayings of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and in the laws of religious jurisprudence. Pay attention to the life and property of the civilians so that, may Allah (swt) forbid, your Jihadic activities will not become a cause for destruction of property and loss of life of people. Any thing that is not permissible in Islam, has no place in our military policy. Spread fraternity among yourselves and help each other during the time of distress and ordeal. Maintain close contact with the people, seek the advice of local influential and hear their constructive advice and consultation and put them into practice.

To the Young Educated Generation and Men of Letters of the Country and the Students of Universities:

As a young educated generation and men of letters (writers) of our Islamic country, you are the leaders of tomorrow of the country. Our enemy is turning every stone to spread their cultural and ideological influence over the young generation of this Muslim country and thus jeopardize our history, religious values and our future. Our religious and historical enemy has cunningly launched a propaganda drive, spending huge amount of money in order to gradually strip our young generation of their Afghan and Islamic identity. As a young generation of this Islamic country, you have an Islamic and Afghani responsibility to confront these hostile anti-Islamic and anti-Afghan endeavors of the enemy with all your capability of tongue and pen and indefatigable struggle. Do not let your historical, religious and cultural enemy succeed.

You should know that the cunning enemy financially and extensively fund some sold-out Afghan circles in a surreptitious manner to flare up a domestic war on the basis of language and geographical locations. Thus they want to harm the identity and integrity of the country and take avenge on the Afghans. You, the young educated generation, should not become part of these negative movements. Instead, solely focus on serving the cause of dissemination of Islamic culture, independence of the country and unity. The honor of a Muslim lies in Islam and Islamic unity. It is you that are able to protect the pillars of Islamic culture and Afghani identity from crumbling down. The Islamic Emirate is your flank of battle and a stronghold.

The Islamic Emirate is proud of your support; your Jihad of words and pen and holds you in high esteem and praise. This resistance will increasingly boost through your scholarly cultural efforts.

To Peoples and Governments of the Islamic World:

On this occasion of Eid-ul-odha and on behalf of the Islamic Emirate and as a member of the world Islamic family, I would like to remind the governments and people of the Islamic world not to forget the issue of the occupied Afghanistan and the miserable condition of the people of this country. You should remember that the Afghan people have played prideful role for the defense of Islam and Islamic world, offering numerous sacrifices in this way throughout different stages of the history. This nation stood as a wall of iron in front of the invasions of Genghis, Britons and the communist colonialists, saving the Islamic world.

Today, this nation is entangled in a complicated trial and an imposed war on the charges of their professing (Islamic) ideology. Every day, men and women of this nation, fall prey to the bombardment of the invaders and their children become orphans; miserable people are displaced internally due to the operations and fear of bombardment of the enemy. The people are grappling with hardship and poverty. But the Afghans have embraced all these sufferings out of commitment to the great cause of establishment of rules of the Holy Quran and the defense of the Islamic faith. So the Muslims of the world should share and feel (their pain) and have conduct with them on equal terms as pious Muslim. Perform your obligation of fraternity( towards them) in your material wealth. The countries of the Islamic world should not feel as being a lien to the issues of Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine and should not spare any effort in this regard in the framework of their foreign policies. They should consider the pains and hardship of these suffering people as their own pain and problem and play positive role in the solution of their problems.

To American and European Peoples and to Members of Parliaments:

Afghanistan is an independent Islamic country. It has a prideful history and freedom-loving people at the level of the region and world. This nation has not harmed the independence of other countries and, throughout the history, has not permitted any one else to take their independence. Now when your forces have invaded this territory for the achievement of some colonialist objectives and goals, so it is the religious and humane obligation of the Afghans to stand up to your forces. Think, if your country is invaded by some one else, would you remain indifferent in such circumstances? What do you think, should our people allow the invasion and aggression in their country and remain insouciant vis-avis the invaders? And should not they show any reaction in front of the aggression against their honor religious values, national dignity and independence.?

If you are an impartial judge, you would yourself give us the right to keep up the path of resistance against the invaders and even shore it up more than ever.

Availing the limited resources at their disposal and because of their firm determinations and conviction in their being in the right, the Afghans showed to your military chiefs and political leaders in the past nine years, that you, invaders, are not able to force this nation to accept your occupation. The troops surge made no change in the status quo and never will they be able to turn the tide, if God willing. Body counts of your troop’s causalities have spiraled up but still your political leaders and military chiefs stubbornly persist in their failed politics.

First of all, you should find for yourselves the ground realities and then study them. Ponder over them impartially. How long the governments and people of the world will tolerate your tyrannical policy and your demeanor of taking hostage the people. To relieve yourselves and the Afghan people from the weariness of this unjustified war, you have to put an end to the war as soon as possible. The more the war prolongs, the more casualties of your troops increase and the more its economic burden become heavier. Nothing more than this, you will achieve.

This is the country of the Afghans. The Afghan will not relinquish of it. The resistance will continue as long as the invaders are stationed there. You should review the historical facts to learn some essential points from them. It is more rationale to stop adding fuel to the flames of war by leaving this region. The presence of foreign forces on our soil, paves the way for intensification and aggravation of the war--consequent upon which you will have to face colossal financial and life losses.

To the Neighboring and Regional Countries of Afghanistan:

As an independent country, Afghanistan has been forced to wage a sanguinary war for the attainment of its identity. The colonialist countries led by America, want to turn our historical and independent country into a military base under various pretexts. It has persuaded some other countries to align with them and even have compelled the World Body of the United Nations to issue resolutions palatable to the USA. It has turned the World Body, defacto, into personal entity of America.

I urge you to find for yourselves the ground realities instead of listening to the futile propaganda of the colonialists. Do not forget your responsibilities in the way of independence of our oppressed country.

On the basis of its hypocritical policy, America wants to project our legitimate mission to defend our country and the current resistance as a threat to the world whereas they have no convincing proof and evidence on hand in this regard.

Request:

To end, I urge all Muslims to remember the families of Mujahideen, the prisoners, martyrs and IDPs in these day of sacrifices and selflessness; they have sacrificed themselves in the defense of this venerable religion (Islam) and the country. Remember their orphans and heirs and behave with them like you behave with your children, particularly, favor them with a share in the joy of the Eid.

Once again congratulations on the occasion of Eid and may Allah protect you from grief and anguish.

Peace be on you all

The servant of Islam

Why The State of Israel Shouldn’t Exist

Written by Sheila Quinn

There are several reasons for it to not to exist. One of the reasons is Islamic; another is political/ legal, yet another is moral.
I shall first go into the Islamic reason. The land in which The Israeli State was established is stolen land that belongs to The Islamic Nation. As far as The Islamic Faith is concerned “historical” Palestine is a part of The Islamic Nation. All Muslims are citizens of The Islamic Nation; therefore anything that involves any Muslim country is the concern of all Muslims. Therefore, the issue of Palestine for Muslims does not just involve Al-Aqsa, but all of the territory of “historical” Palestine.

In regards to the political/legal reason, The United Nations is not the world government. The United Nations is an international organization of different national governments; some of them might represent their own people, but many of them don’t. Therefore, any decision that it makes is not binding. The only thing that is binding in International Law is treaties between individual nations. Anything else is not binding. (In order for there to be a world government all nations must give up their sovereignty to it; and become subordinate to it like states, or provinces are subordinate to a national authority. I don’t know of any nation state that is willing to give up its sovereignty to a world government.) Therefore, any perception that The United Nations is a world government -or has the authority of a world government- is completely nonsensical/ illogical. Therefore, The United Nations has no legal authority whatsoever to confiscate land. The act of creating The Israeli State was beyond the legal authority of The United Nations.

As far as the moral reason is concerned, the very act of creating The Israeli State is immoral. It was a criminal act of stealing land. Beyond that, The Israeli State from the beginning behaved as a criminal state that was unconcerned with the rights of others, or with issues which involved ethics/morality. It slaughtered civilians, as well as claimed territory that didn’t belong to it. It was created more than sixty years ago. Throughout this time it has continually: murdered civilians, stolen land, and victimized the Palestinian population in general. One of the major criminal acts of victimizing the Palestinian population is the siege on Gaza. (How the leaders of many nations can sleep at night with this situation going on and not do anything about it is puzzling- the only thing that I can think of is that they must not have a conscience.)

A Disease Called Taqleed

Written by: Sheila Quinn

Introduction

Quran: "Turn ye in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah- those who split up their religion and become sects-each party rejoicing in that which is with itself." Sura Rum (The Romans); ayat 31-32

“This day I have perfected your religion for you completed My Favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion".
Qur'an: (5:3)

“No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah: and if anyone believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright); for Allah knows all things.”
Sura Tagaabun (Mutual Loss or Gain) # 64, ayah #11

“Such is Allah, your true Lord: apart from the Truth what (remains) but error? How then are ye turned away? (10: 32)

“…If you differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day; that is best, and most suitable for final determination” (4:59)

“Verily, this is My Way leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His Path: thus doth He command you, that ye may be righteous.”(6:153)

“…for verily Allah is the Guide of those who believe, to the Straight Way (Surah Al – Hajj (The Pilgrimage) # 22, ayah#54

“So whencesoever thou startest forth, turn thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque...and ye may (consent to) be guided.” (Surah Baqara #2, ayah # 150)

“Be sure We shall test you, with… but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,-
“Who say, when afflicted with calamity:’ To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return:-
“They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from their Lord, and Mercy, And they are the ones that receive guidance.” (Surah Baqara #2, ayat# 155-157)

Ramadan is the month in which was sent down the Qur’an as a guide to mankind… (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful. (Surah Baqara #2, ayah # 185)

Hadeeth:
“Verily, I have left you the Book of Allah and the Sunneh (Traditions) of His Messenger which if you hold fast you shall never go astray”

“Hazrat Ayesha (R.A.A.) relates that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) said: ‘“ If somebody tries to introduce into this faith of ours (Islam) something which is not a part of it, it is to be rejected… (Bukhari and Muslim)

“Hazrat Ibn Abbas (R.A.A.) relates: The Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) once stood up to sermonise us and said: ‘O’ people! You will be resurrected and gathered before Allah barefooted, naked and uncircumcised’
Allah the Almighty says:
‘As We began the first creation, so shall We resurrect them, We have charged ourselves with it, and so shall We do’. (21: 104)
Beware! First of all, it will be Prophet Abraham (A.S.) who will be dressed. And that some persons from amongst my followers will be brought who will be held on the left side near the Hell. I shall say, ‘O’ Lord, these are my companions’. Then I will be told: ‘You do not know what innovations they perpetrated after you.’ Then I will repeat what a pious servant Prophet Christ submitted to Allah:
I was a witness of them while I dwelt among them, and when thou tookest me thou was the Watcher over them. Thou art witness over all things. If Thou punish them, Lo, they are Thy slaves, and if Thou forgive them (Lo! They are Thy slaves.) Lo! Thou, only Thu art the Mighty, the Wise. (5:117-118)
I shall further be told that after I left them (my demise) they continued to turn renegades’ (Agreed upon) (from “Riyadh Us-Saliheen” chapter 16 “ Injunctions for Regular Observation of The Holy Prophet’s (S.A.W.) Practice and it Conditions”

Taqleed is contrary to The Qur’an and The Sunneh of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is Shirk. The Creator, Himself, says that it is Shirk in Sura “Rum” (The Romans). aya in 31-32 :
"Turn ye in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah- those who split up their religion and become sects-each party rejoicing in that which is with itself."

In these two ayain The Creator clearly and precisely describes Taqleed and calls it Shirk. He commands in this Sura that anyone who makes Taqleed should ask for forgiveness from Him.
Taqleed is a disease of the heart which is an epidemic in The Islamic Nation. It is a major cause of disunity amongst Muslims. A major symptom of this disease is arrogance. It is following anyone in the Deen other than Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
To follow anyone other than Prophet Muhammad is ignoring Allah’s words in The Qur’an in Sura Maida (#5); ayah #3 in which an English translation is: “This day I have perfected your religion for you completed My Favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion"

To follow anyone other than Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is ignoring the words of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in which an English translation is: “Verily, I have left you the Book of Allah and the Sunneh (Traditions) of His Messenger which if you hold fast you shall never go astray”

Those scholars who advocated Taqleed in the past were concerned about the possibility that Non-Arabic Muslims would include their own cultural values into their understanding of Islam. But an English translation of Sura Maida, ayah # 3 says:
“This day I have perfected your religion for you completed My Favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion”.

Allah has knowledge of all things in the present and in the future. He has knowledge of the needs of The Islamic Nation, both in the present and in the future. In this ayah He says that He has completed The Deen. What does completed mean? It means that nothing more is needed. Yet some scholars say that Taqleed is needed. Their saying is obviously ignoring the words of Allah.

It is one thing to seek advice about something that you do not know about from individuals that you trust; it is a totally different thing to follow someone. One seeks advice from: doctors, plumbers, teachers, etc. But, does one follow a doctor, a plumber or a teacher. Of course not! To get advice is one thing; to follow someone is a completely different thing.

Of course, there is ignorance amongst Muslims- including Non-Arab Muslims. But the only remedy is knowledge; the only remedy is education in the religion- not Taqleed! (I seek refuge in The God from the accused shaitan).

Some Harmful Results of Taqleed

*Arrogance

*Fitna- divisiveness amongst Muslims

*Confusion amongst Muslims as to what is lawful and what is forbidden.

*The abuse and overuse of fatwa

*The use of criteria- for making decisions in Fiqh – which are totally irrelevant/ invalid to The Sharia and to The Islamic Faith.

*The making of fatwa when there is clear evidence from The Qur’an and/or Sunneh concerning the issue.

*Encouraging and promoting the disunity of The Islamic Nation.

*Causing significant damage to the unity of The Islamic Nation.

* Destruction of The Islamic Nation from within.

* Taqleed is spreading throughout The Islamic Nation as a cancer.

*Encouraging personality cults (the adoration and worshipping of individual human beings).

These are some of the results of Taqleed. Taqleed is not just an act of shirk which is between an individual human and his creator. It is a cancer which is spreading throughout The Islamic Nation. It is in the process of destroying The Islamic Nation. Therefore, it is not just an individual matter between The God and His slave- but a serious concern for all Muslims.

Just as a doctor knows that a person has cancer by seeing cancer cells under a microscope that have come from a human body; I know that Taqleed is a cancer that is spreading through out The Islamic Nation through interacting with some “cancer cells” through The Internet. I would like to share a few of the experiences that I have had on The Internet. I am involved in a number of different forums and social networks through out The Internet.
On one forum a Muslim brother asked about the celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. I told him that it wasn’t a part of The Islamic Faith, and therefore it wasn’t acceptable to celebrate it. His response was to reject what I said. Why did he reject it.?.. because of Taqleed. He said that what I said was wrong because he assumed that I was a Wahabi, and of course everyone knows that Wahabis support the state terrorism of The U.S. Therefore, he rejected what I said, because it was in agreement with those who supported the foreign policy of The U.S. Because of Taqleed, he had assumed that I was Wahabi and therefore a supporter of The U.S. Because of Taqleed, he rejected what I said not on the basis of The Qur’an and The Sunneh, but on the basis of politics… pure and simple. He is, indeed, one of the cancer cells of Taqleed in the Islamic Nation.
On another forum another Muslim brother was making excellent statements about Islam. Then he started talking about numerology, and that numerology is part of The Islamic Faith. I gently asked him for some evidence from The Qur’an and Sunneh about this. His response was to give me a link to a website. He is, indeed, one of the cancer cells of Taqleed in The Islamic Nation.
On a social network I discussed the issue of Taqleed with a number of friends that I got through that network. One friend sent me a post about Taqleed to my profile; I read it and then ignored it. Another friend posted an article from a scholar about Taqleed in her notes; I read it and starting commenting on it. I disagreed with the post by saying that Taqleed wasn’t part of Islam. I asked for evidence from The Qur’an or Sunneh which supports Taqleed. The only response that I got was that I was going after my own nafs. I continued to ask for evidence from The Qur’an or Sunneh, but my request was totally ignored. I continued to interact with friends on this social network. Some of them were Sufi and some of them were Salafee. They disagreed with each other on many things but apparently all of them agreed about Taqleed. They would, and did, verbally attack each other… They are, indeed, some of the cancer cells of Taqleed in The Islamic Nation.
I have seen papers on The Internet that were written by some scholars. Some of them concerned the issues of hijab and music. In these papers fatwas was made. On the issue of hijab a scholar said that it was obligatory for women to completely cover ourselves in public (including the face and hands). In Sharia fatwa is made only when there is no evidence from either The Qur’an or Sunneh, yet there is clear evidence from The Sunneh about hijab. Therefore, a fatwa on this issue is totally unacceptable. In this particular case the scholar was misusing/abusing his status as a scholar to promote his own opinion. (What is the evidence? There is a Sahih (sound) hadeeth in which Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that everything should be covered except this and this and he pointed to the hands and face.) In another paper a scholar was taking the position that music is haram (forbidden). I read this paper and studied it as to what it was saying and why it was saying what it was saying. In this paper the scholar was basing his fatwa on the opinion of one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad as to the meaning of a particular ayah in The Qur’an. What is the criterion for what is lawful and forbidden? There is a Hadeeth of Prophet Muhammad which says:
“Verily, I have left you the Book of Allah and the Sunneh (Traditions) of His Messenger which if you hold fast you shall never go astray”
In this hadeeth what is the criterion? “…I have left you the Book of Allah and the Sunneh…if you hold fast you shall never go astray” According to this hadeeth the criterion for what is lawful and forbidden is The Qur’an and The Sunneh of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Yet, in this paper the scholar uses the opinion of a companion. In this hadeeth does Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mention his companions? Of course he doesn’t! The criterion for what is lawful and forbidden is clear. The criteria that the scholar uses for saying that music is forbidden has absolutely no validity whatsoever in The Sharia. It is through Taqleed that he is encouraged to use whatever criterion he wishes.
It is through Taqleed that Muslims are encouraged to take whatever the scholars say as the truth-no matter what is said! If someone is a scholar than he shouldn’t be questioned; he is a scholar and therefore beyond any criticism. Such is the teaching of Taqleed. Such a teaching encourages blind adherence to whatever a scholar says. Such a teaching encourages the adoration and worship of individual human beings. Such a teaching promotes disunity amongst Muslims. Such a teaching encourages and promotes confusion amongst Muslims as to what is lawful and what is forbidden.
Arrogance is a major symptom of Taqleed. Taqleed, by its nature encourages arrogance and therefore encourages disunity amongst Muslims.

Allah is my Lord, and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is my one and only leader. The scholars are teachers, only! Teachers are fallible human beings who sometimes make mistakes. Therefore, the scholars sometimes make mistakes because they are fallible human beings. Therefore, please…please! Do not speak to me about the opinion of such and such scholar and such and such a scholar. Their opinions are of no use to me. I am a slave of Allah and a follower of His Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Speak to me about the words of my Lord and the words of His Messenger.

“…If you differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day; that is best, and most suitable for final determination” (4:59)

Qur’an and Salat: Guidance Comes From The God

“No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah: and if anyone believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright); for Allah knows all things.”
Qur’an, Sura Tagaabun (Mutual Loss or Gain) # 64, ayah #11

“…for verily Allah is the Guide of those who believe, to the Straight Way (Surah Al – Hajj (The Pilgrimage)# 22, ayah#54

Guidance comes from The God both outside of Islam and within Islam. The Christians make others Christian. But, it is The God, Himself, who guides individuals to Islam. We, Muslims, do not make others Muslim. We only share knowledge about Islam with others. It is The God, Himself, who make individuals Muslims.
Just as The God guides individuals to Islam. It is He who gives guidance to individuals within Islam. Just as we do not guide others to Islam, but only give them knowledge about Islam; the same thing occurs for the scholars- they give knowledge about Islam to others, but it is The God, Himself, who gives guidance.
It is through The Qur’an and Salat (prayer) that The God gives guidance to those who are in Islam.

“So whencesoever thou startest forth, turn thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque...and ye may (consent to) be guided.” (Surah Baqara #2, ayah # 150)

In this ayah Salat is being mentioned “…, turn thy face in the direction of the Sacred Mosque” Then it says, “and ye may (consent to) be guided.” This ayah combines Salat with guidance.

Be sure We shall test you, with… but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,-
“Who say, when afflicted with calamity:’ To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return:-
“They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from their Lord, and Mercy, And the ones that receive guidance.” (Surah Baqara #2, ayat# 155-157)

These three ayah are mentioning those: “who patiently persevere,-
Who say, when afflicted with calamity:’ To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return:-
It says that those who behave in this way are: “They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from their Lord, and Mercy, And the ones that receive guidance.

These three ayat are some of the proof in The Qur’an that guidance is from Allah. Another ayah in the Qur’an that proves that guidance is from Allah is: “Ramadan is the month in which was sent down the Qur’an, as a guide to mankind… (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.”

Ramadan is what? It is: “the month in which was sent down the Qur’an,” Why was the Qur’an sent down? “as a guide to mankind.”

Allah says in the Qur’an:
“…If you differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day; that is best, and most suitable for final determination” (4:59)

Well, I differ with some Muslims about Taqleed… and in this article I have referred it to Allah and His Messenger.

“[Dr. Sawi comments : It is not apparent to me on what basis the two dignified shaykhs - Albani and `Abbasi - regard the study of fiqh according to the madhhabi method for students of knowledge, in the starting stages, and without fanaticism, as one of those things which are permissible as an exception, by way of necessity!

[In fact], has acquisition of initial knowledge, throughout history, ever been in any manner other than this? In fact, are most students of hadith today not confined to the choices of our Shaykh Albani - may Allah preserve him and bring benefit by his knowledge - and his scholarly preferences, to the extent that they almost have a fifth madhhab? However, they are not to be censured for that, as long as they [merely] follow, without being fanatical.]

Shaykh Dahlawi says, "The ummah - or [at least] those who are worthy of reckoning [among them] has unanimously accepted, upto this day, the permissibility of making taqleed to these four established madhahib. This [taqleed] contains benefits which are not hidden, especially in these days, wherein energies have dwindled severely, souls have been drenched in caprice, and each revels in his own opinion." [Ibid., vol. II, p. 112.]

[Also among the constants is:] that mention of the evidences to the lay person does not remove him from the sphere of taqleed from the jurisprudential point of view . . . . We have already mentioned the words of Shatibi, "The fatwas of the mujtahids are to the laymen what the Shar`i evidences are to the mujtahids." . . . .

As for that which has appeared from amongst the sayings of the Imams regarding prohibition of making taqleed of them . . . it is true, but it must be put in its proper place [which is as follows].
- It prohibits people from following them in those things to which the evidence is established to the contrary.
-It prohibits [the Imams`] counterparts, mujtahids, from making taqleed of them, for [mujtahids] must take from [the sources] from which [the Imams] took. “

. .

This is taken from the super wall of a profile of mine on a social network on the Internet. A friend of mine who is a British Muslim sister put this on my wall. Obviously she is pro-taqleed.
In this post it says, and I quote:

“[Also among the constants is:] that mention of the evidences to the lay person does not remove him from the sphere of taqleed from the jurisprudential point of view . . . . We have already mentioned the words of Shatibi, "The fatwas of the mujtahids are to the laymen what the Shar`i evidences are to the mujtahids." . . .”

The words of Shabti are ‘ The fatwas of the mujtahids are to the laymen what the Shar’i evidence are to the mujtihads.”

Don’t get me wrong ,but isn’t this priesthood? In priesthood there is an intercessor between The Creator and His creatures. Yet, a vital part of the enormous beauty of The Islamic Faith is the direct- I repeat- direct relationship that The Creator has with His creatures through the means of The Qur’an and Salat. It is through Salat that we have direct connection to The Creator. It is through reading The Qur’an from the beginning to the end time after time that we get lessons in Islam from The Creator, Himself. It is a well known fact amongst Muslims that if a Muslim has a problem he can randomly open up The Qur’an and read what is in front of him that he will find the answer to his problem. I, personally, have done this a number of times and I did find the answer to my problem.

“No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah:
and if anyone believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright); for Allah knows all things.” Qur’an, Sura Tagaabun (Mutual Loss or Gain) # 64, ayah #11

One example of Salat, is Istikhara. This is where a Muslim needs to make a personal decision that is important. He goes to The Creator and asks that whatever is best for him should happen- if something (such as marriage) is good to allow it to be easy, and if it isn’t to keep it from occuring.

In a preface to a English Translation of The Qur’an , the translator Abdullah Yusuf Ali says: “It is the duty of every Muslim, man, woman, or child, to read the Qur’an and to understand it according to his own capacity…..
….
“How much greater is the joy and sense of wonder and miracle when the Qur’an opens our spiritual eyes! The meaning which we thought we had grasped expands. New words are opened out. As we progress, still newer, and again newer worlds ‘swim into our ken’. The miracle deepens and deepens, and almost completely absorbs us. And yet we know that the ‘face of God’- our final goal- has not yet been reached. We are in the mulk of Sulaiman (Q.ii. 102), which the evil ones denied, belied, and even turned into blasphemy. But we can ignore blasphemy, ridicule and contempt, for we are in the threshold of Realities and a little perfume from the garden of the Holy One has already gladdened our nostrils …

“One final word to my readers. Read, study and digest the Holy Book. Read slowly, and let it sink into your heart and soul. Such study will, like virtue, be its own reward. “

“…and if anyone believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright); for Allah knows all things.” Qur’an, Sura Tagaabun (Mutual Loss or Gain) # 64, ayah #11

It is Allah, Himself, who gives guidance- not the scholars.

The words of Shabti are ‘ The fatwas of the mujtahids are to the laymen what the Shar’i evidence are to the mujtihads.”

By comparing the words of Shabti to the words of Allah it is clear that not only are some of the scholars ignoring the words of Allah- they are in fact in opposition to those very words. Some scholars are saying that guidance comes from them, where as, in The Qur’an Allah says that guidance comes from Him. Indeed, in this some of the scholars are making themselves partners with the one God.

‘The fatwas of the mujtahids …what the Shar’i evidence…” What is this? This is obviously… what?…it is obviously personality cult. What is personality cult ? It is the adoration and worship of an individual human being. In Islam, adoration and worship belong only to the one God. Yet, some scholars are encouraging Muslims to adore and worship human beings…

Guidance comes from The God – not from the scholars! In insisting that it comes from them, some scholars are encouraging others to adore and worship them… in doing this they are making themselves partners with the one God.

Do I respect the scholars? Well, I do not respect any Muslim who ignores the words of Allah… and some scholars are ignoring the words of Allah!

Zionist Terrorist Attack on Aqaba

by Ammaar ibn Walid
The Star Trail Lines Writer

The 6th of August 2010, Friday
The 26th of Sha'ban 1431

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...

On the 2nd of August 2010, Monday a Grad Missile from outside of Jordan landed in Aqaba, which is the only sea port in Jordan. The result was six injuries, with one of those injured becoming a martyr. The martyr had serious injuries and so he is at peace with Allah now insha' Allah. The Zionist police claimed that the missile was from Sinai, which is the peninsula that is part of Egypt. At first a senior Egyptian official denied it being from Sinai. The Jordanian Authorities are still investigating into the matter. In my opinion, I accuse three sides of the terrorist attack on Aqaba.

The three sides are: The Zionists of Occupied Palestine, the Egyptian Government and the U.S., whether it is government or intelligence or both. Some time after the Egyptian official denied it being from Sinai, the Egyptians changed their position and mentioned that it was from Sinai. They also falsely accused some Palestinian faction from Gaza of it. At first they denied it was from Sinai, and some time afterward they not only "confirmed" it from Sinai, but also unjustly accused a side that is innocent of it. There is obvious contradiction from the Egyptian side, and why is that?

Is there the possibility that the Egyptian Government was pressured to change their story? If so, who pressured them? In my opinion the Egyptian Government was most likely pressured to change their story. As for who pressured them, it was obviously the U.S. and the Zionists without doubt. When Egypt denied it was from Sinai at first, they also mentioned strong security presence along the border with Gaza and occupied Palestine. All of a sudden there was no mention of the strong security presence afterward, as if it has vanished into thin air. The missile attack on Aqaba was the second missile attack on it.

There were injuries from the attack on Aqaba, yet the deceiving attack on a port in occupied Palestine had no injuries. In my view, that is a little bit suspicious. The Palestinian Authority and the U.N. both condemned the attack on Aqaba, but the U.S. mentioned that it was a "regrettable act"! What kind of a response is that?! Shouldn't it have been more liked "terrorist act"? Is that evidence of guilt? Or of U.S. involvement in the attack against one of its allies in the Middle East? The timing of such an attack should be noticed and observed as well. Just a few months before the Zionists committed an act of piracy.

It was an act of piracy in International Waters where the Zionists martyred nine Turkish activists in cold blood. It was a time when the Palestinians of Gaza had sympathy from peoples of different nations. It also put the spotlight on Gaza and the illegal blockade on it. It rightfully put the Zionists in hot water. There was no condemnation of the attack on Aqaba from the Zionists, and just a day afterward the Zionists unjustly went after some trees on Lebanese land, which sparked a skirmish between the Zionist and Lebanese armies. It was the first time the Lebanese army had a fight with the Zionists.

It is important to mention that Hizbullah stayed out of the skirmish. The Zionist Prime Minister unjustly and falsely accused the Palestinian Government of the attack on Aqaba, with the Palestinian Government being Hamas in Gaza. That is illogical. It wouldn't be in Hamas' interest to do such a thing. That's one thing. Another thing is that moving missiles from Gaza into Sinai wouldn't be an easy job. The Egyptian security forces would soon discover such weapons and confiscate them.

If the Egyptian security forces had a strong presence on the border, there wouldn't have been any chance or possibility for any Palestinian faction to do such an act without being discovered. It is obvious that the Egyptian Government cooperated with the Zionists and the U.S. in attacking Aqaba. The Egyptian security forces let the Zionists in easily with their weapons. As such, the Egyptian Government is responsible as much as the Zionists are. Such attacks on Aqaba not only show the vulnerability of the sea port, but it also shows that the Zionists idea of a Greater Israel hasn't vanished.

A Greater Israel that would consume Jordan. I have learned that there are some Jordanian journalists who falsely suggested a group related to al-Qaeda was behind it. There is no such evidence of that for one thing. For another thing that is illogical. The Zionists have the most interest in doing such an attack on Jordan, however covertly it might be. The Zionists have time and time again tried to provoke Jordan into a war against it. Such attacks on Jordanian territory is strong provocation.

The Zionist Prime Minister falsely accusing Hamas is like saying that the assassination attempt on the Iranian President succeeded. The Zionists mention "provocations" against it, like flotillas and ships trying to break the naval blockade on Gaza, yet what about the numerous Zionist provocations against Jordan, whether it involves al-Quds (East Jerusalem) and al-Aqsa or other stuff? It is interesting that the Zionists are going after trees near the Lebanese border, especially a day after their terrorist attack on Aqaba. Afterward the Zionist Air Force increased its illusionary "raids" on South Lebanon.

First it was at medium altitudes and then at a wider larger scale at lower altitudes. There were more wide targets the Zionist Air Force raided illusionary in South Lebanon. It seems to me that the Zionists are getting impatient about there being no war, especially since their terrorist atrocities against Gaza almost two years ago. The main target of the terrorist attack was Aqaba. The attack on the sea port on occupied Palestine was just a diversion, just to unjustly accuse those innocent of it. It's kind of silly that the Zionists of Occupied Palestine attacked one of their sea ports to turn attention away from them.

Accusing the Egyptian Government is a strong accusation and some might say it would divide the Arabs because of it. What I say is that the Egyptian Government is already dividing the Arabs and it deserves to be accused of it without any hesitation. I would request that those from the Jordanian side investigating it to make bold announcements, and to have bright and open minds. I also request that they shrug off any pressure to change or manipulate the truth behind the attack. There is propaganda and falsehood that the Egyptians announce and mention to some media sources.

I would request the Jordanian media and news to ignore such propaganda and falsehood. Last, but not least, I would request the Jordanian Leadership and Government to forge closer ties with Hamas to have better relations and better intelligence.

Afghanistan: Land of Jihad

by Ammaar ibn Walid
The Star Trail Lines Writer

The 19th of March 2010, Friday
The 3rd of Rabi' Al-Thani 1431

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...

Prophet Muhammad foresaw that an Islamic Army would rise in Khorasan, and that the Mahdi would lead such an army to bring Jerusalem under Islamic Authority. I'll mention them here, with them being translated in English.

"There will be many armies after me. You must join that army which will come from Khorasan... At the time, when the Muslim Umma will have abundance of wealth, gold and silver, the Muslims will be extremely belittled, weak and helpless...

"The enemy nations will invite each other to pounce upon them as hungry people invite one another for food... The Christians will demand their wanted people to which the Muslims will answer: 'By Allah! They are our brothers. We will never hand them over!'... This will start the war..."

"One third of the Muslims will run away. Their tawba will never be accepted. One third will be killed, they will be the best shaheed near Allah. The remaining third will gain victory, until under the leadership of Imam Mahdi, they will fight against Kufr...

"At that time, you will be present in a plain of great mountains with plenty of trees. Armies carrying black flags will come from Khorasan. No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Jerusalem where they will erect their flags...

"If you see the black banners coming from Khorasan, go to them immediately, even if you must crawl over ice, because indeed amongst them is the Khaleef, Al-Mahdi".

Prophet Muhammad tells us numerous things. One is that although the Umma would be rich in resources, we'd be weak and humiliated. Look at the current situation of the Umma. It is rich in resources, but we're weak and being humiliated.

Nations fighting against Islam would invite each other to crush and weaken the Muslims. Such a thing is happening now in some parts of the world with the U.S. and Europe leading the way. However it is important to mention that Russia, China and India are also nations fighting against Islam.

Russia against the Muslims in the Caucasus Emirate, China against the Muslim Uighurs in East Turkestan and India against the Muslims in Kashmir. To a lesser known degree is Burma, with its Junta going after its minorities, especially the Rohingya Muslims.

Soon after 9.11, under the Bush Administration, the U.S. demanded that the Taliban Administration in Afghanistan hand over Osama bin Laden, thus referring back to "... The Christians will demand their wanted people..."

The Taliban refused. It's important to mention that the Bush Administration demanded more than that from the Taliban Administration. The U.S. soon went to war afterward against the Taliban in Afghanistan.

There are three thirds mentioned, with one running away, a second becoming shaheed and the third will gain victory. The third running away is those who don't support the Taliban and their Jihad and who support the invasion and war against the Taliban.

Some Muslim Nations are already known, but only Allah knows if there is more. The second third becoming shaheed means the Muslims in Afghanistan, whether they're innocent civilians or Mujahideen. The last third is Taliban defeating NATO and the U.S. in Afghanistan. Not only that, but the last third would also be a victory for the Muslims supporting the Taliban and for the Islamic Umma in general.

Prophet Muhammad's description of the place "... At that time, you will be present in a plain of great mountains with plenty of trees..." is a good description of Afghanistan. The Taliban already carry black banners. They aren't the only Mujahid group carrying it though.

Khorasan was the name of the territory that is now Afghanistan. It is not part of Iran, as that territory was known as Bilad Faris. Afghanistan is known throughout its history that no foreign power ever conquered it.

Not only that, but it was partially because previous foreign powers that tried to conquer it and failed, either collapsed or were severely weakened. The first of such is Alexander the Great. It's important to mention that Alexander the Great came before Prophet Muhammad and Islam.

As such Khorasan wasn't under Islam, nor was its people Muslim. Yet the people still defeated Alexander. Another example was the British Empire. The Afghan people not only had the culture of fierce fighting, but Islam had blessed them by that time as well.

The British Empire declined after their long occupation, and eventually collapsed. The Soviet Union is a third example. It soon collapsed after the Mujahideen defeated it after several years of long fighting. At the time the Mujahideen were assisted by foreign intelligence like the CIA and ISI.

However it was such assistance that led the Mujahideen to battle one another after the Soviet occupation ended. With the Afghan people liberating themselves from the British and from the Soviets, they gained experience and became battle-hardened.

The U.S. and NATO entered a dangerous and humiliating end by invading Afghanistan. After the British defeat and Soviet defeat, one could only guess how the U.S. and NATO would end up after the Mujahideen in Afghanistan defeat them.

It's important to mention that not only the U.S. and NATO would be defeated, but the Muslim Nations supporting them would be defeated as well. Battling the Afghan people and culture is not fighting a new and inexperienced people and culture; rather it is like fighting veterans of previous successive wars.

Allah has blessed the Afghan people with not only bringing the British Empire and the Soviet Union to its knees -both were superpowers during their times-, but also eventually destroying NATO insha' Allah and bringing the U.S. to its knees. Domestic events in the U.S. are helping the U.S. be brought to its knees.

Being blessed by Jihad from Allah, only Allah would know how the Jihad would continue in Afghanistan after the U.S. and NATO are defeated. The Islamic Administration to come would be too busy putting Afghanistan back onto its legs for several years perhaps.

As such the Jihad would be unofficially and temporarily suspended in Afghanistan. I could be wrong in that though, and only Allah knows.

Taqleed is Contrary to The Qur'an and The Sunneh of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

written by Sheila Quinn

Qur'an: Sura (chapter) Rum (The Romans);ayat 31-32

"Turn ye in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah- those who split up their religion and become sects-each party rejoicing in that which is with itself."

Qur'an: (5:3)

" This day I have perfected your religion for you completed My Favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion".

Hadeeth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):"'Verily, I have left you the Book of Allah and the Sunneh (Traditions) of His Messenger which if you hold fast you shall never go astray' "

This is the evidence from both The Qur'an and The Sunneh of Prophet Muhammad (peace
be upon him)that Taqleed is,indeed, contrary to The Qur'an and The Sunneh of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

How do I proceed from here...? Perhaps, I should speak about how I came to this position. I sense within myself that this is a trust from The Creator for me to share this with others.

From what I understand the concept of Taqleed came within the last hundred years from a scholar who died just seven years ago. There is absolutely nothing in The Qur'an or The Sunneh which supports Taqleed. Whenever I discuss Taqleed to those on "Facebook" they mention this scholar and what he had written. They, themselves, do not give evidence from The Qur'an and The Sunneh. Yet, I have... time after time have given evidence from The Qur'an and The Sunneh that says that "Taqleed" is not part of Islam. (The evidence that I gave is that which is at the very beginning of this post.)

When and how did I come to this position? It was during the first ten days of the month of "Dhul Hijjah" that I came to understand that Taqleed is shirk. It was just a few days before the last Eid Al-Adha. (Before this I just thought that Taqleed was a major source of division amongst Muslims. I did think that it is a major source of division between Muslims. Because, Taqleed, is in fact sectarianism. It encourages and insists on sectarianism. It is common for Muslims in one sect to verbally attack those of another sect. For example: the hostility between Muslims who are Sufi and Muslims who are Salafi. Individuals from both groups are verbally attacking the other group for being misguided. Each group is insisting that it is The Right Group and that all the rest will be in The Hell-Fire. This is exactly what Allah, Himself, is describing in Sura Rum of The Qur'an:"...those who split up their religion and become sects-each party rejoicing in that which is with itself.") As I said it wasn't until a few days before last Eid Al- Adha that I was aware of Taqleed being shirk.

What were the circumstances under which I came to understand this? It was the first
ten days of "Dhul Hijjah". In Islam, these ten days are very special. Muslims are encouraged to do extra acts of worship, as well as, doing extra good deeds. I, myself, was fasting all of the ten days and I was also reciting The Qur'an. (It is common knowledge amongst Muslims that if we have a problem we can randomly open up The Qur'an and start reading. Through this we can get an answer to our problem. Also, it is common knowledge amongst Muslims that The Qur'an(in its original Arabic)is The Words of The God. Therefore, if we recite (read)The Qur'an from beginning to end time after time we will start learning more and more about Islam. We will start having lessons directly from The God, Himself, through The Qur'an) I have been reciting (reading) The Qur'an from beginning to end time after time for more than three years. Through the reading of The Qur'an I came to understand that there are different levels of Mumineen ( Believers)- not just one. It was through the reading of The Qur'an that I came to understand that Taqleed is Shirk. It was during the first ten days of Dhul Hijja that I read Sura Rum in The Qur'an and came to understand that Allah was talking about Taqleed in Sura Rum of The Qur'an.

It was many months later-in the beginning of March 2010-that I realized that it is a trust from The God for me to share this knowledge.

Taqleed is against The Qur'an. There is an aya in The Qur'an which says;
'This day I have perfected your religion for you completed My favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.' (5:3)

The God, Himself, knows what His Guidance is- and He knows best when it is whole/completed. When something is whole, absolutely nothing more is needed. The God knows everything. He knows: the past, the present, and the future. He knows what is needed and what will be needed in the future. Yet, there are some Muslims who think that they know better than The God about what is needed. There are some Muslims who think that they know better than The God about what will be needed. There are some Muslims who think that they know better than The God about His own Guidance. The Muslims who are involved in Taqleed are such Muslims. Those Muslim scholars who advocate Taqleed are such Muslims.

Taqleed is against The Sunneh of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Prophet Muhammad said; 'Verily, I have left you The Book of Allah and The Sunneh
(Traditions) of His Messenger which if you hold fast you shall never go astray'

'...if you hold fast you shall never go astray'.

If you hold fast to what? If you hold fast to The Book of Allah and The Sunneh ( Traditions) of His Messenger '...you shall never go astray'.

How can it be more clear than this? We Muslims have only One Lord, Allah. We have
only one leader Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). To follow anyone else is not only unnecessary- but it is , in fact, outside of Allah's Guidance- it is outside of The Islamic Faith.

"...and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah-those who split up their religion and become sects- each party rejoicing in that which is with itself." (Qur'an; Sura Rum (The Romans); ayat 31-32)

In these two aya is not The God saying that Taqleed is Shirk?

"...those who split up their religion and become sects- each party rejoicing in that which is with itself"

Is this not a clear and precise description of Taqleed?

As I said before, it was many months after I found out that Taqleed is Shirk that I realized that I needed to share this knowledge with others. It was months after I learned about Taqleed being Shirk that I realized that it is a very important trust from Allah for me to share this knowledge with others.

I am very much aware of the fact that some will react in a very negative way to this knowledge. But, this is a very important trust from The God. It is a trust in which I must...MUST.. fulfill.

Allah knows best.

Some Differences Between Islam and the Christian-European Culture

By Sheila Quinn

In the Christian European perception of things, we humans are capable of anything- and of knowing everything. In this perception we possess things and we possess ourselves.

Yet, such perceptions are contrary to the Islamic Faith. There are things that we humans cannot know without Guidance from The Creator. Also, we do not possess anything- not even our own bodies or ourselves. Did we create ourselves? Did you create yourself? Did I create myself? Are we sustaining ourselves? Did we create the oxygen that we are breathing?

It is known that dogs hear what we cannot hear and that insects see what we cannot see. Therefore it is logical to say that there is a possibility that there are creatures which exist on this earth with us which we cannot sense.

Indeed, from The Qur'an we do know that there are such creatures. Just as we are made from clay (mud/dirt) there are some creatures which are made from pure light(Angels) and others which are made from flame less fire (Jinn). The Angels don't have any free will and therefore are always good. Whereas, the Jinn are like us in that they have free will. Like humans, some are good and some are not good.

All knowledge comes from The Creator. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was deeply aware of this. He was deeply conscious of The Creator.

What is Fard?

By Sheila Quinn

An English translation of what Allah says in the Qur'an is :

"...so fear not mankind, but fear me. And barter not my revelations for a little gain. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed such are disbelievers." (Maida: 44)
"Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them. And they were ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion." (Bayyinah:4-5)

The Qur'an and The Sunneh of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)is Islam. Together they make up the Guidance of Allah. It is upon this basis that the Islamic Nation exists.
We do not make things: haram ( forbidden), halal(lawful), or fard (obligatory). It is Allah- and only Allah-who determines such things. It is upon the basis of both the Qur'an and the Sunneh... that we know what Allah has determined.
In Islam, there are things which are black or white... but there is also other colors of the rainbow which is a part of Islam. There are things which are: encouraged, disliked, and neutral ( neither good nor bad).
There is much ignorance of Islam amongst Muslims... even some knowledgeable practitioners of Islam are ignorant of some things. Without being aware of this, some such practitioners confuse: encouraged with fard, and disliked with haram. It is this confusion which is a major source of: division, misunderstanding, and perhaps some hostility between Muslims. For example: we are encouraged to do Taraweah prayers (special extra night prayers during the month of Ramadan): we are encouraged to memorize the Qur'an and to encourage our children to memorize the Qur'an; and it is disliked for us to delay making Salat (prayer) until the last part of the period for Salat.
Yet there are some practitioners who would speak and behave as if these things are obligatory/haram. Such an attitude is not only wrong and divisive... it could easily discourage others from practicing the faith.
