Why The State of Israel Shouldn’t Exist

Written by Sheila Quinn

There are several reasons for it to not to exist. One of the reasons is Islamic; another is political/ legal, yet another is moral.
I shall first go into the Islamic reason. The land in which The Israeli State was established is stolen land that belongs to The Islamic Nation. As far as The Islamic Faith is concerned “historical” Palestine is a part of The Islamic Nation. All Muslims are citizens of The Islamic Nation; therefore anything that involves any Muslim country is the concern of all Muslims. Therefore, the issue of Palestine for Muslims does not just involve Al-Aqsa, but all of the territory of “historical” Palestine.

In regards to the political/legal reason, The United Nations is not the world government. The United Nations is an international organization of different national governments; some of them might represent their own people, but many of them don’t. Therefore, any decision that it makes is not binding. The only thing that is binding in International Law is treaties between individual nations. Anything else is not binding. (In order for there to be a world government all nations must give up their sovereignty to it; and become subordinate to it like states, or provinces are subordinate to a national authority. I don’t know of any nation state that is willing to give up its sovereignty to a world government.) Therefore, any perception that The United Nations is a world government -or has the authority of a world government- is completely nonsensical/ illogical. Therefore, The United Nations has no legal authority whatsoever to confiscate land. The act of creating The Israeli State was beyond the legal authority of The United Nations.

As far as the moral reason is concerned, the very act of creating The Israeli State is immoral. It was a criminal act of stealing land. Beyond that, The Israeli State from the beginning behaved as a criminal state that was unconcerned with the rights of others, or with issues which involved ethics/morality. It slaughtered civilians, as well as claimed territory that didn’t belong to it. It was created more than sixty years ago. Throughout this time it has continually: murdered civilians, stolen land, and victimized the Palestinian population in general. One of the major criminal acts of victimizing the Palestinian population is the siege on Gaza. (How the leaders of many nations can sleep at night with this situation going on and not do anything about it is puzzling- the only thing that I can think of is that they must not have a conscience.)

  1. from jewish point of view, i do agree that Israel shouldn't exist as it was God's will.

But people has this ability to do what they want.. so only what we can do in this matter is to pray and ask for forgivness and mercy for victims and ourselves..
